Howlite Stone is a white porous stone that can be easily dyed in many colors. It has grey or black veins throughout the stone. Sadly it has been dyed and sold as Blue turquoise to the unsuspecting buyer. In addition to Blue, Howlite has been dyed Purple, Yellow, Orange, Green, Black, Brown, Pink, then sold as Turquoise.
